We had friends over to play and we’re low on snacks. I kept seeing this cake on Pinterest and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical at first, but I was very pleased with the outcome. The cake was light, fluffy and moist! Great for a last minute dessert or for a crowd!
- 1 Box Super Moist Chocolate Cake Mix – Devil’s Food recommended
- 1 Cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 Cup Water
Preheat oven to 350deg. Mix the 3 ingredients until well blended. Prepare pan and bake according to directions on the box. Allow to cool completely. Serves 12.
* I used a 9×13 glass pan. Directions said to bake 30-35 min. My cake was done in 25min. I believe if I kept it in longer, it would have been dry and overdone.
The kiddos aren’t thrilled with plain cake so I sprinkled butterscotch chips and toffee bits on the top before baking.
