When you slice a pan of brownies does half of each brownie stick to the knife you’re cutting with? It ends up looking like a pan of ripped brownies and giant crumbs. Thats ok in a bowl of ice cream, but it doesn’t look so nice when presenting a plate of brownies. And its messy.I would usually refrigerate my brownies and cut them cold, but it doesn’t always work and the soft, chewy consistency can become a bit dry and crumbly around the edges.
Then I received this TIP from Linda K. in San Jose! You allow brownies to cool to room temperature and then use a plastic knife to cut. No ripping! Nice, clean cut brownies! I will be doing this from now on!
