I am excited to share my review for the NewAir ABR960 Compressor Beverage Cooler, but whats even more exciting is that NewAir is providing one to give away to one lucky reader!
The NewAir ABR960 has a sleek and compact design that easily fits up to 96 cans. It is the same size as a standard trash compactor and can easily fit in its place. We are using it as a water fridge and was able to fit an entire flat of 35 water bottles.
So we spend most days of the week at our dance studio. The one thing we were missing was a fridge to hold waters for the dancers. The girls work hard and drink lots of water. Even though they all bring a lot with them, they still run out, especially with all the added Nutcracker rehearsals we’ve been having! Us moms spend quite a bit of time in the viewing room, where our ABR960 resides. The beverage cooler arrived quickly and it was very easy to unpack and set up.
It cooled very quickly and the water bottles chilled much faster than I expected. The sturdy double paned door is reversible, so it can be set up to open in either direction, depending on your individual need. There is also a security lock and has digital controls, which is very easy to read.
Though our beverage cooler is free-standing, this unit can easily be built in to cabinets, same as the NewAir 290DB Compressor Wine Cooler. (I so want one of these too!) The adjustable LED blue lighting on the temperature control is easy to read and well, adjustable! I prefer to keep the lighting dim, but it really is a matter of personal preference. Another plus is that the compressor-powered chiller has minimal vibration and it is so quiet that I barely notice it is there.
The ABR960 is a great little beverage cooler that I would use in the kitchen, garage, office, salon and more. My friend Jennifer from Balancing the Chaos used a similar 84 can cooler from NewAir as a Snack Center for her kiddos! When they came home from school or needed an afternoon snack, they knew what was available and where to get it! Aside from using it in your home, this is also good for use in places too. As you see, we are using it at our dance studio, but the more I’ve thought about it, the more places I’ve thought of. The salon I go to has one in the reception area. A yoga or Pilates studio and even a small gym. I have been involved with setting up concessions for both musical theater and vocal music programs. This would be perfect. We lugged coolers and loads of ice when selling cans of soda. This cooler is not difficult to move would have been much easier to keep the cans cold and we wouldn’t have had to drag large coolers of melted ice outside to empty at the end of each performance.
As I mentioned, one lucky ready will win a cooler of their own! Giveaway end November 30th at 11:59pm, PST.
