Peanut Butter Cookie Cups

November 2, 2014   |   20 Comments

I recently made these for a bake sale.  They are so {simple} and so delicious!

Peanut Butter Cookie Cups

  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • 1 Bag Miniature Peanut Butter Cups
  • Mini Muffin Tin

Preheat oven to 350 deg.

Start with chocolate chip cookie dough.  Use prepared, from a mix or from scratch.  Doesn’t matter which one you use.  Prepare as directed.  I used a pouch of Duncan Hines Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Then either grease or line your mini muffin tin with candy size liners.  I prefer using the liners because it makes clean up a snap!  Roll dough into 1 inch balls and very gently press them into the muffin tin.  Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden brown around the edges.

While they’re in the oven, unwrap the peanut butter cups.  As soon as you remove the cookies from the oven, carefully press a peanut butter cup into the center of each cookie.  Allow to cool completely, then remove from the pan.  Store in a sealed container.  Depending on how big you roll the cookies, this should make 24-30 cookie cups.

During the holidays, I will make these for a cookie swap or I will add a few as accents to any cookie platters I give out as gifts.
