Green Sunshine Smoothie

Time to get your greens on! This smoothie is delicious and packed with nutrients! I drink this in the morning before I go to the gym with a hard boiled egg. I have plenty of energy and feel great. The best part is that you don’t taste anything GREEN!

Green Sunshine Smoothie
  • Chopped Kale, a handful
  • Baby Spinach, a handful
  • Clementine Oranges, 2
  • Peaches, 1 Cup fresh or frozen
  • Pear, 1
  • Raw Honey, to taste (I add about 2 TBSP)
  • Chia Seeds, 1 TBSP
  • 1 Cup Liquid – Water, Green Tea, Natural Juice – Your choice!
  • * If you are not using frozen fruit, add about 1/2 Cup Ice
Place all ingredients in your Vitamix or blender. Begin on Variable 1 and quickly increase to 10 until ice or frozen fruit well blended. Continue on high setting until smooth, for additional 15-30 seconds.
Enjoy!  This made about 3 nine ounce servings.
